WIN-LA is delivered through established regional partnerships between Metro, the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board and Los Angeles County Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services which houses the County of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board and the five consortia Workforce Development Boards (WBD) and a collaborative of enlisted partners including Los Angeles Regional Community Colleges, community based organizations, supportive service providers, labor and trade organizations  including private and public sector employers  and others.

Innovative strategies for outreach, identification and inclusion of targeted populations and diverse communities; the creative identification of solutions to enable seamless coordination of inter-agency systems and resources; transitional hand-offs to partners, supportive service providers and access to career pathways.

    • Overview

      The WIN-LA Advisory Committee was established in fall 2017 to provide insight and expertise in the development of implementation of WIN-LA and to promote the shared values, goals and objectives for this regional collaboration.

    • Purpose

      • Provide insight and expertise in the development and implementation of WIN-LA program framework, career pathways and collaborative services.
      • Inform best practices for workforce development, leveraging the expertise of service providers - particularly with a focus on WIN-LA targeted communities.
      • Support in the identification of resources for Metro to leverage for regional impact.
      • Inform strategies to improve and bolster WIN-LA's goals and objectives.
